A breast lift restores a more youthful breast shape by elevating the breast tissue and
repositioning the nipple to a natural, balanced position. This procedure improves contour,
firmness, and symmetry, particularly after pregnancy, weight loss, or aging.
When appropriate, breast reduction can be performed simultaneously to decrease breast
size and relieve symptoms such as neck, back, and shoulder discomfort while improving
overall proportion. This procedure can also be combined with excision of excess axillary
breast tissue, a congenital condition that can cause fullness in the underarm region and
disrupt natural contour.
During consultation, your surgeon will assess skin laxity, breast volume, nipple position,
and the presence of axillary breast tissue to determine the precise lift technique and
incision pattern required. Incisions are strategically designed to restore natural shape
while optimizing long-term contour and aesthetics.
Recovery:
• 1 week resting at home
• Postoperative drains may be required and are easy to manage
• A support bra is worn to support healing and maintain breast position
• Postoperative lymphatic massage and compression garments are only required when
liposuction is performed as an adjunct procedure
• Avoid strenuous chest activity during early recovery
• Full recovery at 6 weeks
